about this design

At it’s core, Daphne is a stylized study of a delphinium frond. By showing it in two colors and constructions, Gardner makes clear her comfort as a rug designer, creating a design that easily adapts to contemporary or transitional applications.

Emma had a lot of fun with construction here, doing one all wool version “Blues”, which is crisp and bold, and one silk and wool color way “Buttered Toast,” which has shimmery silvers, taupes and golds in a wheat colored field.
