A shell found during a walk with her daughter on Fire Island was Emma’s inspiration for this rug. “When I saw this shell I knew I wanted to capture the striations in a way that simulated the dazzling look shells have when they’re still wet. Using blends of silk and wool in pale pinks and beachy neutrals allowed us to produce the desired shimmery effect,” she said.
